The Access to Information Bill 2017 seeks to enact a law on the right of access to the information held by a public authority performing Government functions in order to give effect to the provisions of Article 28 of the Constitution. As the Development Bank of Seychelles is a parastatal body whereby the Government holds 60% of its shares the Bank has to provide as much information to the public as requested.
